Bethesda creators of the Fallout franchise has open a new video game studio in Montreal Quebec with the aim of expanding its development capabilities on all the major platforms including mobile gaming. The studio will be headed by Yves Lachance, who will take on the role of studio Director.
Speaking on this special ceremony, Todd Howard Game Director and Executive Director at Bethesda Game Studio said:
''We've worked with some very talented developers in Montreal for a long time and decided it was time to open a studio there. It's exciting to think about the new games we'll be building together.''
Yves Lachance said:''Our collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios has been a exhilarating and memorable journey already,''said Lachance. We are thrilled to be launching the studiou in Montreal and contributing our city's great game-making talent to the kind of games that Bethesda Game Studious is known for.''
It is said that this new studio already has a core team of 40 developers, no update as to what Bethesda Montreal is working on but if and when anything pops up we will surly let you know.
