It appears Dice is working on the next Battlefield. According to development director Dan Vaderlind in a tweet confirmed that now that Battlefront has been released is time to move on to the next project which is Battlefield 5.

As Dice continues to work for additional content for Star Wars Battlefront it appears some members of the team have shifted their efforts to work on the next Battlefield. The next Battlefield will be the return of the series to a ''more traditional military environment,'' according to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen who confirmed this last year at the UBS Global Technology Conference.
New entry for the series usually releases every two years: Battlefield 3 launch 2011, Battlefield 4 in 2013 and Battlefield: Hardline earlier this year. Despite claiming they had no intention to annualise Battlefield, EA has listed Battlefield 5 in its schedule of release for 2016.
