Star Wars: Battlefront Beta Annouced Coming October


''You wanted a Star Wars Battlefront Beta? As you wish.''

EA announced on their blog that the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront which is set to release in November will be getting a Beta on the PS4, PC and Xbox One before it's release. The upcoming Beta is a technical test and it begins early October and will feature Walker Assault on Hoth, a 40-player multiplayer battle featuring Rebels and the Empire. The Walker Assault will also give you the opportunity to play as two of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars Universe: Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. The Survival Mission on Tatooine is where you and a rebel friend must fight back waves of imperial forces.

With the two modes mentioned above EA also revealed a brand new mode which will also be included in the Beta, named Drop Zone, although details relating to the new mode was not shared but more details will be shared the weeks ahead as EA promised.

As part of the Star Wars: Battlefront Beta EA is also planning to include a Star Wars: Battlefront Companion experience ones Beta goes live. The companion app features the strategic card game Base command which lets you earn-in game credits that unlocks Star Cards weapons and more. In addition to base Command, the Companion also lets Rebels and Imperials alike check game stats and progression, customize load-outs and appearance, connect with friends and get notified when they are playing Star Wars: Battlefront-as well as gather intel on their stats and progression.

Players can access the app from StarWarsBattlefront and also it will be available for Android and iOS users.

Star Wars: Battlefront releases November 17 2015 on the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
