The Witcher 3: Wild hunt -Two Expansions Annouced
The Witcher 3: Wild hunt is set to release in May of this year and CD Projekt RED HAS announced that there will be a release of two expansions packs for the game. There first one called Heart of Stone which will be released this October and the second called Blood and Wine which will release 2016.
Macin Iwinski CD PROJEKT RED co-founder said:
''With the development of Wild hunt coming to an end the team has embarked upon the creation of two new really big adventures set in the Witcher Universe. We remember the time the add on disks truly expanded games by delivering meaningful content. As gamers will like to bring that back. We have said in the past that if we ever decide to release paid content it will be a vast in size and represent real value for the money. Both our expansions offer more hours of gameplay than standalone games out there he said.''
Hearts of stone will take Geralt on all new 10 hour plus adventure into the worlds of No Man's land and the nooks and alley's of Oxenfurt, where he will try to complete a contract from the mysterious Man of Glass.
With the Blood and Wine, a 20-hour plus tale that will introduce the all new in-game region of Toussiant will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and nightly ritual masks and an ancient bloody secret.
CD PROJEKT RED also stated the upcoming expansions will offer gamers new adventures, gear and foes and will feature characters both old and new.
