No More Pirated Games in Two Years, Cracking Group Warns

According to a Chinese hacking group called 3DM, by 2018 the anti-piracy measures on PC will be so developed that may finally put an end to the era of piracy that so many publishers are concerned.

Sister Bird, founder of 3DM  says that so far all effort breaking Denuvo, anti-piracy protection Just Cause 3 has not brought the desired results. Although 3DM believes that ones the game will still be compromised, the group is particularly optimistic about the future.

“I still believe that this game can be compromised. But according to current trends in the development of encryption technology, in two years time I’m afraid there will be no free games to play in the world,” she adds.

DRM technology has been one of the most controversial topics in the world of gaming. Ubisoft has already recognised that the funds are powerless to combat piracy, while as CD Projekt Red is not using DRM at all, because they believe this technology is the worst thing in gaming industry. One thing is clear that the world on threshold of major changes in the field of protection against piracy.

Personally I do not think and even want to believe that by 2018 the phenomenon of piracy, will finally sink in oblivion.
