Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break will also be released on PC. The game will both launch on both Xbox One and PC on April 5th 2016.
The studio also confirmed on the game's website that anyone who pre-orders the digital version of the game for Xbox One through the Xbox store will receive the windows version of the game for free.
Those who pre-order the Xbox One version at participating retailers will also get access to Alan Wake's American Nightmare, a standalone expansion that was released for the Xbox 360 two years ago. The special pre-order offer starts today and ends on April 4th 2016.

Quantum Break was initially scheduled for a release in 2014, but was delayed until 2015 then it was further delayed to 2016 so as to make the final product more polished as well as not clashing with Microsoft exclusives scheduled to be released in late 2016. The game is been powered by a brand new engine called the Northlight Engine.
