CD Projekt RED the developers of the Witcher series has confirmed the release date of its first expansion pack of their great game Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. These expansion packs was announced back in April a few weeks before the release of the game which were Hearts of Stone announced to release in October and Blood and Wine which will also release early 2016.
CD Projekt RED held a press conference to update fans about the new expansion pack Hearts of Stone which will release October 13 of this year, as well as other related information. According to the developers of the game the expansion pack adds around 10 hours of story, new characters of both old and new, monsters and romance.
This is what the developers said about the new expansion pack Hearts of Stone:
'' Step again into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, this time hired to defeat a ruthless bandit captain Olgierd von Everec a man who possess the power of immortality. The expansion lets you choose your own way through an adventure that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost and outsmarting the most bizzare creatures Geralt has ever faced.''
''Heart of stone packs over ten hours of new adventures and introduces new characters and powerful monsters, unique romance, and a brand new storyline shaped by gamer choices. The expansion also introduces a brand new system of Runewords that significantly affects gameplay. Each Runeworld will impact a different aspect of in-game mechanics and will allow the players to experiment with various strategies and tactics.''
