Call of Duty: Black Ops III PS3/Xbox 360 versions won't have a Single Player Campaign mode

Call of Duty: Black Ops III versions for last generation consoles will not come with the same features as current gen versions of the game. In a recent statement by Activision confirms that the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of the game will not come with a single player campaign.

''The Black Ops 3 PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will feature Multiplayer and Zombies Gameplay only not campaign'' reads the official statement.

''The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player coop Campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware.''

In the statement above is clear that the last gen console couldn't handle the 1-4 player coop campaign mode due to hardware limitation. However the PS3 and Xbox versions of the  game will feature the full featured multiplayer modes which includes the momentum based system and Specialist classes.

In addition players(PS3/Xbox 360) will still have access to an all-new Zombies mode, called ''Shadows of Evil,'' which features a 1940's film-noir inspired adventure that takes the signature Black Ops Zombies gameplay to a new level.

Activision also noted on the blog that Weapon Paint Shop and esports tools for Black Ops 3 will only be available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches November 6 the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be available for a suggested retail price of $ 49.99 and will include a bonus download for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops.
