Assassin's Creed: Syndicate to Introduce the Series First Transgender



So it looks like AC: Syndicate will be on a whole new level in the series history. AC: Syndicate will be the first in the main series to feature a female protagonist, it will also be the first time in the series where players will be able to switch between two protagonist and now is revealed that the series will be having its first transgender character which has never happened in the history of the franchise.

According to report Ned Wynert a male transgender will be the supporting character as well as the quest giver for the player.

Speaking with Eurogamer  Creative Director Marc-Alexis Cote said that:

''It felt like when we first wrote that for AC1 it was something that was very inclusive. But I've the chance to work with more than 12 different writers on Syndicate. At one point one approached me and said that we were not embracing diversity fully enough,''

''Inclusiveness is something that is very important to us as a team. We've made a good push towards diversity and how we approach different subjects in the game.''

 Assassin's Creed: Syndicate launches October 23rd 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and November 19 2015 for PC.
