Sony has released a new firmware update for the PS4 console. The 2.57 firmware is a smaller update and weighs in at just 245mb. The new 2.57 firmware adds ''stability updates'' to some of the consoles features.
No new features or major changes are included. As Sony's description says: ''System software stability during use of some features has been improved .''
It's one of the few updates that is optional which tells us a bit about it's importance, though Sony didn't elaborate on what sort of stability improvements it carries.
