FIFA 17: First EA Sports Title To Use Frostbite Graphics Engine – Teaser Trailer



EA today announced that the next installment of the popular title from EA Sports ‘FIFA 17‘ will use the acclaimed Frostbite graphics engine. Frostbite Engine is already used by many game publishers, such as Battlefield, Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, Mirror’s Edge, Star Wars Battlefront, Need For Speed etc.

 “Frostbite allows the FIFA franchise and its fans access to a new world of possibilities,” said David Rutter, VP and Executive Producer. “We’ve never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences that we will offer in FIFA 17.”


FIFA  17 also features four new ambassadors of football, who have influenced and transformed the field. James Rodriguez from Real Madrid CF, Anthony Martial from Manchester United, Eden Hazard of Chelsea FC and Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund are the four world-class players who are able to change any game. Everyone has worked together with EA SPORTS to liven innovation in the gameplay of the game that will be revealed in EA PLAY. The ambassadors will also be available as loan players in FIFA 17 Ultimate Team ™ for those who pre-order the game.

FIFA 17 will be shown for the first time during the EA Play conference on June 12 at 9:00 pm BST at this link and will launch on September 27 in North America.
