Homefront: The Revolution Release Date leaked by Target
It appears Homefront: The Revolution has been leaked by US retailer Target, with customer reservation card spotted at the store bearing a May 2016 release date.
The cards are issued to customers when they put down a $1 deposit to reserve the game, and grant a Free $5 Target gift card as a pre-order bonus. The Revolution reservation card (pictured below), the release date section on it reads ''5.17.16'' i.e. May 17 2016.
Homefront: The Revolution is an FPS game and is a sequel to Homefront. The Revolution is set 2029 two years after the events of Homefront and four years into the invasion of the United States by the Greater Korean Republic.
In game, players take the role of Ethan ''Birdy'' Brady. The story follows Ethan and the new resistance as they attempt to take Philadelphia.
Homefront: The Revolution is slated to release for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is been developed by Dumbuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver.
