Street Fighter V: Second Beta Announced Plus details
Capcom has announced details regarding the upcoming Beta for Street Fighter V. The global beta which will feature cross-platform play that is allowing PS4 and PC users to battle each other will start October 22nd and ends 25th October.
For PC gamers taking part in the Beta for the first time Capcom revealed the system requirement both minimum and recommended specs PC gamers will need to run the game. However for PC gamers the beta access starts 24th to 25th which means they only have two days of play time compared to four days for PS4 gamers.
For the second beta playable characters announced when beta launches will be Ken, Necalli(new character) Vega, and R. Mika.
Rashid(new character) will be added in on day two(October 23rd) and Karin added on day three(October 24th) The characters from previous beta: Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Birdie, Nash and M. Bison will not be available this time around.
Ranked match making will also be tested where players will be automatically paired with someone of equal skills, leaderboard will also be available as well as player function which lets you see what other players are doing and also check out their fighter profile.
Fight Money will also be tested where players use in-game currency to unlock titles and Kanzuki estate. Do note that all things acquired (leaderboards , titles, stats, Fight Money) will only be available during this beta and will not carry over to the next beta nor onto final release.
How to take part in the beta:
For PC gamers pre-ordering Street Fighter V on steam will gain you access to the beta. For PS4 gamers can sign up via the PlayStation store for a chance of getting access. If you had access to the first PS4 beta you will automatically gain access to the second one so there will be no need to register. If you are selected you get an email with instructions on how to access your beta redemption key.
