Resident Evil 7 will run at 1080p @ 60 FPS on PS4 and Xbox One

The launch of Resident Evil 7 is just around the corner, and while it’s full adaptation to PC has been known for weeks  (4K, 144 FPS, 21: 9, etc).  Masachika Kawata (producerannounced that the Resident Evil 7 game will hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox one with the support of a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 60 FPS, thus giving added value to those users who are interested in enjoying a horror game and not a terrifying cinematic experience.

Not everything stays in the resolution and the frame rate per second, but Resident Evil 7 will also support HDR on PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One S (Yes! no for Xbox One).
Resident Evil 7 is the next major installment of the famous Resident Evil series and represents a new milestone for the franchise, as it takes advantage of its roots and opens the door to a truly terrifying fear experience. With its largest change in first-person view and a Photorealistic style.

Set in modern rural America and continuing the story of the dramatic events of Resident Evil 6, players will experience terror directly from the first person perspective. Resident Evil 7 embodies the distinctive elements of the series of exploration and tense atmosphere with which the genre of “survival horror” was coined twenty years ago.
Resident Evil 7 will be released on January 24, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, recalling that today there is a demo available on all platforms.
