First Assassins Creed Empire Off-Screen Image Leaked, Egypt Setting Confirmed

It looks like Ubisoft is finally exploring the Egyptian setting with its upcoming Assassin's Creed game, which is supposedly going to be named Assassin's Creed Empire. Lots of rumors have been around about chances the publisher and developer might be going to Egypt at some point, and it seems that point has arrived.

From what we know, Ubisoft is prepping its upcoming Assassin's Creed game pretty well, taking all the time it needs to make it good enough not to repeat Assassin's Creed Unity and Syndicate flops - the first in terms of pure gameplay, the latter for what matters sales.

Anyway, a supposed leaked image from Empire has appeared on the Internet and particularly on Reddit, where it seems there's this pic where you can see some background and preparation being done behind the scenes on pyramids and other Egyptian looking stuff we might be playing and looking at throughout the adventure.
It's not a coincidence that no new Assassin's Creed games are shipping this year, with only an Ezio Auditore's titles remaster for PS4 and Xbox One, and a movie coming in December starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard - we're really looking forward to watching it.

Ubisoft looks pretty confident about Assassin's Creed Empire. In a recent interview, Ubisoft Boss CEO Yves Guillemot stated that new Assassin's Creed will be available in the market when it is ready and it has a Huge Potential To Revolutionise The IP.
