Hitman Game Delayed until March 2016

The new Hitman game which was scheduled for  release on 8th December 2015 has been pushed till March 2016. This announcement was made via the official Hitman blog. The game been delayed is to allow additional development time for IO Interactive to include more content to the game. The blog post of IO Interactive writes:

''We're going for a new release  where we put out a good chunk of game when it begins and then release the remaining locations overtime, the developer explained.'' This few extra months will mean we can add more to the launch content of the game, more than we had originally planned, and then follow with a tighter frequency of updates, which ultimately will create a better game for everyone.''

''The playable area and density of our locations goes beyond anything we've built before,'' the developer stated. ''We 're striving to create a series of living, breathing worlds in those locations and we get pretty obsessed about every detail that you will experience,''

''Moving a launch date is never an easy decision, we know it's frustrating to have to wait a bit longer for the game, but we truly believe it will mean we can deliver a better launch and overall experience.''

It's been reported that the levels in Hitman  are also larger in which the maps in the game will be six to seven times bigger than the levels in Hitman: Absolution. Looking at the image below we can see that Paris the Showstopper which is one of the levels in the new Hitman game is six times larger than that of Street of Hope which is the largest level in Hitman: Absolution.
